Previously, he worked alongside Thorsten Fink at Genk during the 2024-2025 season, where he took on the role of individual coach. The duo managed to achieve an average of 1.79 points per match over 73 games together at Genk. With Ribeiro's addition, Samsunspor hopes to deliver a more successful performance in the 2026-2027 season.
